Strength & Conditioning for Judo

To support the young athlete and their coach in their strength and conditioning preparation and physical training, Judospace offer individualised advice.

Our aim is to help you manage the conditioning side of your judo to allow to maximise your results, get the best from your training and realise your ambitions.

Individual advice and support is provided by the Judospace Strength and Conditioning Advisor, Andrew Burns.

There are 4 levels of support available. These are outlined below.

Level 1 support

Email your enquiry to office@judospace.com

Our Strength & Conditioning Advisor will respond to your email with advice about how to make progress in the area you need. This might be:

  • Weight loss
  • Weight gain
  • Improved power
  • improved endurance
  • Improved strength for specific techniques

Level 2 Support

Sign up for a 30 minute Skype conversation with our Strength & Conditioning Expert. You will recieve unique specific verbal advice during the conversation. 

Time

Level 3 Support

For the serious judo player. Written conditioning programme following the consultation. Very specific to your situation and your needs, taking into account your training opportunities and facilities.

Programme Length

Level 4 Support

Recieve individual strength coaching from Andy. Someone who really knows how to apply your conditioning into your technical and teactical judo model.

This is for the aspiring judo player, with ambitions to compete at a higher level, who needs help to step to the next level.

A series of 6 x 45 min consultations, to work towards a specific outcome, ie. preparing for a specific event, changing category, improving a particular aspect of your conditioning, etc
