Judospace Advanced Coach Award Level 3

Course Approval

The Advanced Judo Coach Award at Level 3 is approved, accredited or endorsed by a number of organisations and Federations. See below:

Judospace Educational Institute

The Award is delivered and accredited by the Judospace Educational Institute. The Institute is registered as a Learning Provider in the UK.

The Institute is also registered with the UK government Skills Funding Agency on the Register of Training Organisations.

Successful candidates recieve a Diploma from the Judospace Educational Institute.

Anglia Ruskin University

The Award underwent a rigorous approval process with Anglia Ruskin University, Accreditation Subcommittee Panel on 20 January 2011. The Award was accredited by the University as an Access Course in Sports Coaching with 90 credits at HE Level 0. (Equivalent to FHEQ Framework for Higher Education Qualifications, and EQF European Qualifications Framework, Level 3)

The European Judo Union

The Award is recognised by the European Judo Union, since it's inception in 2007, and it's launch in 2008. From 2007 - 2014 the Award was also accredited by the European Judo Union. At the EJU Directing Committee meeting in December 2014 it was decided to cease accreditation of coaching awards separately from the IJF.

The "APPLICATION FORM FOR THE LEVEL-RATING AND RECOGNITION OF NATIONAL COACH QUALIFICATIONS WITH THE IJF ACADEMY" for this award was submitted in May 2014. We were informed that the evaluation process for the IJF Awards would be complete in April 2015.

Judo South Africa

The award is recognised by Judo South Africa, as the Level 3 stage in the JSA Coaching Strategy. It forms part of the High Level Judo Coaching Project. Successful coaches also recieve the Level 3 Coach Award from Judo South Africa.

British Judo Association

The British Judo Association recognise this award as a part of the Coach Education and Revalidation system. it is identified as a Revalidation Event for British Judo Coaches in their document; Coach Education Programme, Revalidation and Personal Development.
