EJU Level 3 Advanced Coach Award
Course Overview
"To improve the standards of Judo across the world through improving the knowledge skills and understanding of the coaches".
Accessibility
The EJU Advanced Coach Award Level 3 is suitable for people who are working with athletes on a regular basis and are looking to improve their coaching and planning skills, whilst developing a greater understanding of what contributes to athletic performance.
Because of the online nature of the course and the flexible residential delivery the course is globally accessible.
The course is recognised by Olympic Solidarity, applicants may be able to apply for financial support through their National Olympic Committee.
Distance Learning
The course is a distance learning programme delivered by a course management system called Moodle, and maintained and administrated by our team of lecturers.
Moodle has a large and diverse user community with over 16 million registered users, speaking over 70 languages in 196 countries.
The system includes:
- Lessons (Through presentations, videos, photos, articles, reading lists and other learning methods);
- Online Tutorials;
- Discussion Forums;
- Online Questionnaires;
- Quizzes;
- Surveys;
Duration
As a distance learning course, the EJU Level 3 Coach Awards, aims to be flexible for the coaches taking part on the programme, it allows coaches to complete the learning at their own pace.
Entry Requirements
The EJU Level 3 coach applicant is asked to hold a recognised 1st Dan, and membership of their National Federation.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to include a brief personal statement or CV and a picture with the application form.
Residential
There are bookable residential places in Bath and Malta on a bi-annual basis at the advertised website price at time of application. Also, Residential Assessments can be conducted throughout globe. If there are a minimum of 10 students who have all completed the first 6 modules, there is an option for assessors to visit for the residential. Prices will vary depending of location, and can be discussed individually.
