Course description

This module will help coaches to understand the development of judo in a historical context. It will help them follow the evolution of judo and help them place their work in a broader context.

Learning Outcomes

• To describe the historical development of judo, pre-Kano, during Kano's life, post-Kano.
• To describe the evolution of competition judo.

To follow this module and continue on your way to gaining the EJU Level 3 Advanced Coach Award, you need to have completed module 3, Planning & Physiology. Then you will be invited to progress onto this module by email. To enrol on module 1 or 2 download the Application Form, complete it and email it to us.
